Metallic Rainbows

This week has been a good one, fewer classes, my assessments are finished for the week and I'm enjoying a day off. I'm also still riding on a positivity wave from my lovely weekend, all is well.

Here is an outfit from last week. I really like how light and bright it is and this metallic skirt always cheers me up. Can we just pretend the first photo is artistic, and that in reality I did not get the framing wrong? I kinda like it in all honesty...

Outfit Details

Tights - Myer
Boots - Dr Martens, customised

I don't know what Blogger is doing to my photos but they're RAW files that become much lower in quality here for some reason, I'll investigate other uploading options.

Thank you for reading!

Fragments

I really liked how the different aspects of this outfit came together when I wore it. This was what I dressed in about a week ago, I just hadn't gotten a chance to put it up here yet.

My course is crazy in the best possible way. I'm constantly busy in all aspects of my life and, though exhausted at the end of each day, I love the satisfaction from being able to say I achieved something.

Outfit details:
Dress - Vintage
Purple fishnets - eBay
Necklace - Paua shell on a chain

By the way, I still haven't repeated an outfit yet, resolution upheld so far!

And so it begins...

Three weeks ago I began a new course. It's an intensive course so finding the time to blog will be difficult but I'm up for the challenge.

As I do at the start of each year, I make an effort not to repeat the same outfit. It's a strange resolution I give to myself.
Here is one of the outfits I wore on my first week. It's summer and instead of buying sandals which are far more appropriate, I wear my comfortable Converses despite the heat. The bright colours in this outfit helped lift my spirits despite having to leave so early that morning, don't you love how clothing can have a restorative effect on your mood?
